SHOW DESCRIPTION

The Hunchback of Notre Dame is a powerful tale that follows the plights of outcasts in a society rift with injustice and prejudice, highlighting love and compassion as forces to heal divisions. Set in 15th-century Paris, the story follows Quasimodo, the bell-ringer of Notre Dame Cathedral, who dreams of experiencing life beyond his tower. Through chance encounters, the story reveals how the unity of hearts and minds can challenge accepted realities and overcome isolation. With a soaring score by Alan Menken and Stephen Schwartz, the musical combines Victor Hugo’s classic novel with the emotional heart of Disney’s animated film, exploring community, the resiliency of the human spirit, and the timeless question: “What makes a monster and what makes a man?”
