How to Audition for
Catch Me If You Can
AUDITION TIMES AND INSTRUCTIONS
Auditions will be virtual and submitted through a vocal self-tape, due at 5:00pm on Thursday, January 18th. Please fill out the audition form and upload one vocal audition self-tape. Please reach out to musket.prod@umich.edu if you have any challenges with completing this portion of the audition. Email musket.prod@umich.edu with any questions or concerns.
FOR THE VOCAL AUDITION, YOU SING A MUSICAL THEATRE SONG OF YOUR CHOICE!
Plan to sing for approximately one minute or 32 bars. Be confident and have fun! Please introduce yourself at the beginning of the tape and share your name, year & school, and song choice.
SHOW DESCRIPTION
Catch Me If You Can follows the daring escapades of Frank Abagnale, Jr., a resourceful teenager who, armed with charm and forged checks, assumes various identities as a pilot, doctor, and lawyer. As he lives lavishly and pursues his dreams, he draws the attention of determined FBI agent Carl Hanratty, leading to a high-stakes chase across the country.
CALLBACKS
Will be held in-person on Saturday, January 20th from 9am-4pm and January 21st from 9am-4pm in Studio 4 in the Dance Building (1000 Baits Dr) on North Campus. If you have a conflict with these dates please indicate that in the audition form.
